Mindful Shibashi is a gentle, flowing set of 18 movements. After we have ‘arrived and settled’ which will be familiar to you if you attended the introduction (don’t worry if you didn’t!) we will seamlessly move into the session where we review 2 of the 18 movements as it is nice to know, roughly, what’s where and to learn of the benefit of each movement!
We will then revisit the golden guidelines for a safe and enjoyable session before practicing the full set of 18 movements with light guidance, and accompanied by gentle music in the background.
Reaching the end, we will sit or stand for a few moments to notice how things are with an invitation to gently bow to close the practice.
No previous experience is required, there is no pressure to get things perfect, and all are welcome.
All you will need is some space around you, a mat or rug under foot for comfort, and access to a chair should you wish to sit for some or all of the practice.
